God's call to the Cistercian contemplative life expresses
itself in various ways through our attractions and yearnings.
These desires can be--- - for a spirituality that will
help us develop a personal relationship with Jesus and give meaning
and purpose to our life;
- for a caring community that supports us and shares with us as a family
and helps us live Gospel values following Jesus in a life of hidden
service;
- for a life style that challenges us to know and accept ourselves
and others in order to become the loving persons God meant us to
be;
- for the silence and solitude where we can ponder the Word of God
in our hearts, leading us into deep prayer where we bring the
concerns and needs of the whole human family.
These are some of the indications that God may be calling you to the Cistercian
contemplative life. Experience has shown that women between the ages of
20 and 40 adapt more easily and happily to this life style. For more information,
