Directions

From the WEST:

• Take I-81 South to I-64 East. Stay on I-64E until Exit 107 (exit to Route 250).
• At the end of the exit ramp, turn LEFT onto Route 250 (EAST). After about 1 mile 250 intersects with Route 240 at a traffic light.
• Turn LEFT onto Route 240 (going NORTH now). Continue on 240 through the little town of Crozet.

In the middle of Crozet, Route 240 makes a 90 degree turn to the right and goes EAST to Charlottesville.

DO NOT MAKE THIS RIGHT TURN, but

• continue straight ahead. You will then be on Route 810.
  Stay on this road until it ends – 4 miles beyond Crozet-in the tiny township of White Hall. Route 810 dead-ends here at Route 614 (also called Garth Rd.). Turn RIGHT, and
• continue EAST on this road for 2 miles. Watch for a sign at Lisbeth Farm (on your left) &
• prepare to TURN LEFT onto MILLINGTON RD. (Route 671). After about 1 mile, Millington curves to the left and you will cross Moormans River (small one-lane bridge). Just after crossing the bridge (about 30 feet) TURN LEFT onto CLARK RD (Route 674). This is a narrow gravel lane, so proceed with caution – watching for on-coming traffic.

The monastery entrance will be on your right after ½ mile. There is a white sign at the driveway (OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS MONASTERY). Drive up to the parking lot, and  come  to the main door (red brick building with a rose window and an arched door).  Step inside (the door will be open) and ring the bell on the counter.  Wait for a sister to greet you.
These directions may seem complicated, but when you drive it, you will find it is quite easy.

From CHARLOTTESVILLE or other areas EAST of the monastery:
From the northeast, take Route 29 into Charlottesville. At the intersection of Route 29 and Barracks RD, (major intersection in Charlottesville),

• go WEST on Barracks RD – away from the city. From the intersection of Rt 29 & Barracks RD, you will drive about 9-1/2 miles. Out in the country, the name of Barracks RD changes to GARTH RD. (also Route 614). Watch for Yule Farm – a sign on your LEFT.
